🎭 One Face, Four Emotions: How I Created Expressive AI Portraits Using Simple Prompts
Have you ever wanted your AI-generated characters to feel real — to show emotion, personality, and mood shifts?
In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through how I created a full image sequence of the same girl showing four different emotions: happy, sad, angry, and curious — using only text prompts.
No Photoshop. No face-swapping. Just prompt crafting.
🔧 Tools Used
- ChatGPT for generating image
🧠 Step-by-Step: How I Did It
1. 📸 The Base Prompt – Neutral Face
We start with a base image prompt that defines the character. This ensures all variations later stay consistent.
Prompt:
portrait, anime girl, medium shot, studio lighting, happy
You can tweak the lighting or background, but try to keep most features constant.
2. 😀 Sad Expression
To change the expression, I only modified the mood keyword in the prompt.
Prompt for Sad:
make the same lady sad and change her background window color to red
3. 😠 Angry Expression
To generate anger
Prompt for Angry:
make the same lady angry and change her background window color to white
5. 🤔 Curious Expression
For a softer, inquisitive look:
Prompt for Curious:
make the image of same lady with curious expression ( attcahed the original image and gave prompt)
📽️ Final Touch: Turn It into a Video or GIF
Once you’ve generated all four images:
- Drop them into CapCut, Canva, or any video editor.
- Add quick transitions to make a 5–8 sec reel.
- Add cover text like:
“One Face → 4 Emotions | Made with AI Prompts” - Upload to YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels
