How to Use the ‘No’ Parameter in Midjourney.

“The images displayed above were created using Midjourney. By clicking on an image, you will be given the prompt used for its creation, and there is also an option to download the image. Creating these images is straightforward if you are familiar with the prompts.

For these particular images, I have utilized the ‘no’ parameter of Midjourney. “I used ‘–no hair on forehead’ in my prompts to keep hair off the face in the images. They turned out perfectly, except for one where I chose to have hair on the forehead for a different look.”

Example prompt: ‘Medium close-up shot, create an image of a woman with grey eyes, hair color electric blue-black, short wavy hair, symmetrical image, background patio –no hair on forehead.’

This format demonstrates how you should apply the ‘no’ parameter in your prompts.

The ‘no’ parameter in Midjourney tells the AI exactly what to leave out of the picture. It’s a straightforward command that makes sure certain details don’t show up in the final image.

Let me show you one more eg of ” no paramater.”

In this screenshot, you can see the images generated by the MidJourney. Prompt (Product photography, product shot of an orange serum bottle, Fujifilm Pro 400H). As you can see, one of the images contains orange. However, if you don’t want orange in any of the images, this is where you can use the ‘no’ parameter

I have revised the prompt by mentioning the ‘no parameter’ at the end, and as a result, you can see there is no orange in any of the images.

Let me show you one more example: In the above screenshot in the top left image the serum is placed on a stone pedestal.

I’ve revised the prompt (Product photography, product shot of a orange serum bottle, Fujifilm Pro 400H, –no stone pedestal) by including the ‘no parameter’ at the end, and as a result, you can see that none of the images contain any orange.

If no parameter is not working :

Chk for the following

1. After the prompt you have to place comma and then enter (no text). Refer the above prompt

2. –no orange ( after double dash, dont give space)
